Moderate intensity quake hits Khuzdar area

KHUZDAR June 13 (PPI): a moderate intensity earthquake shook Khuzdar adjoining areas, Naal and Wadh during the day Friday. Kutcha houses developed cracks. However there was no immediate report of any human loss.
Seismic Centre Islamabad told PPI that a moderate earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit Khuzdar, adjoining areas, Naal and Wadh at 1115 hours during the day. Its epicenter was located in Khzudar. Its depth was 26 Kilometres. It caused fear and panic among the people who came to their houses and other places in open. They recited Quranic verses and kalmia Tayyaba.
There are report of crack of walls and roof of kutcha houses. There was no report of any casualty or injury to any body.
