QUETTA June 24 (PPI): Despite weaknesses present government has tried to present a better budget. It has focused education and law and order situation besides special attention has been paid on health sector.
This was stated by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing budget session of provincial assembly here Tuesday.
He said government with Opposition was striving development of the province. Important problems of the province were not focused in the past and this is the reason province remained backward. He said huge amounts have been allocated for higher education, medical colleges and Agriculture University.
He said government started work on development projects pending for last ten years. Supply of electricity has been started from Dadu-Khuzdar transmission line and soon supply would also start from D G Khan-Loralai transmission line.
Chief Minister said his secret fund has bane abolished. It has bane our effort to mobilise all resources for the welfare of the masses. He said under prevailing situation better budget than this cannot be presented.
