TANK: Polling for national assembly seat NA-25 began on Wednesday morning here
The by-poll in Tank D.I. Khan started this morning at 8am will continue without any break until 5pm in the evening. This by-poll was earlier postponed on August 22 for security reasons.
In all seven candidates contesting for the seat NA- 25, where 366500 voters are expected to exercise their right of franchise. A total of 308 polling stations have been established in NA-25, out of which 77 are for men, 75 are for women and 157 are combined polling stations.
Sources said a local holiday being observed to ensure that people are able to vote with ease.
