11 drown near Jiwani

GWADAR/HUB Aug 11 (PPI): Eleven people drowned in deep sea when a speed boat carrying them illegally capsized in Arabian sea. The incident took place three days ago.
According to details a speedy boat was carrying 11 Pakistan nationals to Iran illegally. Boat sunk in deep waters of Arabian Sea near Jiwani. Jiwani is tiny Pakistan town along Iran border. It is 70 Km off Gwadar.
Four dead bodies were recovered and handed over to administration in Jiwani. They are said to hail from Punjab and Khyber Pashtoonkhwa.
Eye witnesses said other dead bodies were seen along the beach near Jiwani.
In the absence of cold room in Jiwani and Gwadar these dead bodies wre decomposing.
On Monday morning Incharge Edhi Trust Dr Abdul Hakeem Lasi left for Jiwani along with a caravan of Edhi Ambulances to bring these bodies to Karachi. These would be kept at cold storage at Sohrab Goth.
