ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has issued notices to Federation and Balochistan government in a case seeking to grant bail to former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in Bugti murder case.

A 2-member bench headed by justice Nasir-ul-Mulk heard the case; during hearing council of Pervez Musharraf argued that neither his client has any connection with Akbar Bugti murder case nor he murdered Akbar Bugti.

Lawyer representing Musharraf prayed that his client was under custody for last three months in Bugti murder case, and therefore his plea for bail should be accepted.

On this, court said, “court cannot give decision without hearing the argument of opponent party, federal and Balochistan government, notices will be issued to them and after that hearing will be conducted”.

Later on the court issued notices to Federation and Balochistan government and sought reply in 15 days.
