JAFFARABAD Nov 15 (PPI): A 220 kv towers was partially damaged which another was saved by bomb disposal Squad near here Saturday.
According to details terrorists planted explosive devices with two towers of 220 kv transmission line from Uch Power Plant to Guddu Thermal Power House At Panwar Sinehri near here today. Due to explosion one tower was partially damaged.
ON information Bomb Disposal Squad reached the site and inspected the area. After sweeping large quantity of explosive material was recovered which was defused and the area and towers were saved from catastrophe.
Police said terrorists had tried to blow two towers by time device and used more than 50 Kg explosive material.
