SIBI Dec 5 (PPI): Provincial government is working to provide all basic facilities of life including health and education. We desire to see Balochistan healthy and prosperous. Doctors should make service to humanity their habit. Health Department would be approached to meet doctors shortage at divisional hospital Sibi.
These views were expressed by Secretary Women wing of National Party MPA Dr Shama Ishaq Baloch while speaking to doctors and staff during her surprised visit to civil hospital here Friday.
She went round general OPD, women, male and children wards, Medicines store, X-ray room, laboratory and other different parts.
ENT specialist Dr Hajif Faiz Baloch, Dr Muhammad Air Baloch, Dr Ali Muhammad Baloch, Lady Doctor Isharat Zahid and others briefed her in details about problems and difficulties they were facing.
Pharmacist Muhammad Rasheed Qadri, shabbier Ahmed also informed her about medicines available at the medical store.
Medical Superintendent Dr Syed Ghulam Sarwar Hashmi briefed her in detail about problems being faced by hospital, doctors shortage.
Appreciating performance of doctors, paramedical Staff and others Shama Ishaq said besides resolving problems of health department employees within available resources provincial minister for health and health department would also be approached about shortage of doctors at the hospital and problems would be resolved.
She said National party under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch was striving to resolve burning issues of the province. Steps were being taken to ensure end to unemployment and provision of health and education. She said National Party was mobilizing all resources to raise standard of life of people and prosperity of Balochistan. We do not make claims but end problems through practical steps.
