Tahir for raising standard of education

QUETTA: Member Provincial Assembly belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Tahir Mehmood Khan has said that concerted efforts are needed to raise education standard in the province.
He was addressing the diploma distribution ceremony arranged in the Government Girls High School Mission Road here the other day.
He was concerned about the deteriorating standard of education in the province, and urged the teachers and other concerned high ups to play their vital role in its raising.
The teachers should realize their obligation in this regard, maintaining the former Minister stressed.
He said that the posting and transfer of teachers on the basis of political influence or so has added fuel in the issue.
He on the occasion regretfully pointed out that 11 secretaries of education department were replaced during last seven years.
Tahir Mehmood also noted with concern that the state of educational institutions is not upto the mark in interior Balochistan.
