SESA hosts reception for Secretary Education

QUETTA: The Senior Educational Staff Association (SESA) hosted a reception in honour of the Secretary Education, Abdul Saboor Kakar here at the Government High School Prince Road.
The office bearers of the association as well as the presidents of the divisional association, councilors besides the senior officials of the Education department also attended the reception.
The issues of the senior teachers and staff were brought into notice of the Secretary Education. They were included up-gradation of the posts of senior teachers serving in the Grade 17 and up to Grade 20, pending cases of the promotion, increase in the rate of charge allowance of the principals and headmasters, posting of the senior teachers on the administrative posts on the basis of seniority removing the junior ones, restoration of the four tire formula, besides others.
The Secretary Education gave a patient hearing to the issues of the teachers and education staff and assured to play his part in addressing them.
Abdul Saboor Kakar said that the government of Balochistan is mobilizing all available resources for raising the standard of education in the province.
He also said that the government is committed to promote education and as such is not going to make any compromise in this regard.
No negligence would be tolerated in achieving the goal set by the government in this regard, the Secretary asserted.
He urged the teachers to play their part in educating and grooming the young generation.
