QUETTA: Traders’ community also observed mourning and staged protest
demonstration in the provincial metropolis on
Wednesday.
A wave of sadness prevailed in the bazaars
and markets of the city
against the tragic incident of Peshawar.
Mostly the business activities remained
standstill in the city with
majority of the shops and markets were closed
down.
The traders also staged demonstration in
front of the Press Club.
While the traders of the main city also staged protest in
Liaquat bazaar and
adjacent roads.
They also burnt tyres to block the roads
as a mark of protest and
resentment against the terrorism.
They strongly condemned the carnage of the
Peshawar school
children, teachers and staff. They demanded that those
involved in the
barbarism should be taken to task.
