Energy problem major hurdle in economic growth: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD Sept 19 (Online): Minister for Planning‚ Ahsan Iqbal has said that energy problem is the major hurdle in economic growth.
Addressing a seminar in Islamabad‚ he said the government had crossed 16‚000 MW electricity production mark.
The Minister said that coal-based Gadani power project will be completed in three and a half years and Thar Coal Project would be completed on fast track basis in collaboration with China.
