Meeting resolves to counter terrorism
in the province with full strength

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has decided to intensify further the measures for maintaining law and order and against terrorism in the province.
The decision to this effect was made during a high level meeting attended by the Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, Provincial Minister for Information, Information Technology, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Minister for Planing and Development, Dr. Hamid Khan Achakzai, Minister PHE and WASA, Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai, Minister for Local Government, Sardar Ghulam Musatafa Tareen, Advisor to Chief Minister, Ubaidullah Jan Babat, besides the Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha, Secretary Home, Captain ® Akbar Hussain Durrani, Capital City Police Officer, Abdul Razzaq Cheema and other concerned officials.
The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the province in general and in Quetta in particularly. The security arrangements in connection with the President’s visit to the province were also reviewed. Certain decisions were also made in this regard.
It was decided that wholehearted action would be taken against terrorism in the province. The terrorism would be confronted with full force, the meeting decided.
It was also decided to beef up the security to ensure life and property of the public.
Referring the Peshawar terrorist attack in the Army Public School, the meeting condemned the incident and termed it a black chapter in the country’s history.
Fateha was also offered for those lost lives in the terrorist act.
