Reforms in health sector in the offing: Rehmat

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch has expressed his optimism that he would succeed in bringing reforms in the health sector as per his vision.
He was addressing a meeting of the committee formed with regard to conduct the annual convocation of Bolan Medical College (BMC) here the other day.
He said that he has fulfilled his promise made with the students about conducting the annual convocation of the BMC.
It may be mentioned here that BMC convocation is being held after a long time in Quetta.
The Minister Health, who also happens to be a senior leader of National Party, said that he is a political worker and to him, there’s no value of Ministry. Rather, it is his mission to serve the people without any discrimination, he maintained.
He said that he is satisfied that he is endeavoring to materialize his vision about health sector in the province.
Rehmat Baloch also mentioned that serious steps are being taken to bring reforms in the sector. The initiatives are bearing far reaching results, he said.
He said that the day is not far away when the department would be put on modern lines.
The Health Minister on the occasion applauded the efforts of Principal of BMC, Professor Dr. Saadat Khan and professors of other faculties regarding the convocation. It would be an unfair not to mention their endeavors in conducting the convocation of BMC in Quetta, he commended.
He expressed the hope that the young passing out BMC graduates would play their effective role in development and prosperity of the province.
They would also serve the ailing humanity with dedication and extra passion.
