Secretary Livestock visits Govt. Dairy Farm

QUETTA: The Secretary Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Muhammad Siddique Mandokhail visited the Government Dairy Farm, located on Brewery Road the other day.
While speaking on the occasion, he said that wholehearted steps are being taken to put the department on modern lines.
The Farm Superintendent, Dr. Jumma Khan and Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Saeed Kakar were present on the occasion and briefed the visiting Secretary about the functioning of the Dairy Farm and other related issues.
He said that it is our endeavour to develop the livestock sector further through effective planning.
The Secretary went round of different sections of the Dairy Farm. He directed to the management to bring improvement in the cleanliness system.
He directed to make arrangements for inspection of the cattle in the Farm and do their treatment and ensure supply of good milk to the customers.
He also directed to take well care of the hygiene and hygienic principles in the Farm. It is our responsibility to strive for betterment of the department and well being of the cattle.
The Secretary also took notice of the absence of staff in the Government Dairy Farm and directed to its management to take action against those absent from their duties.
