M. Phil seminar held at Center for Excellence in Mineralogy

QUETTA: M. Phil seminar was held under the auspices of Center for Excellence in Mineralogy the other day.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal said that better research papers play important role in bringing about positive change in the society.
He said that basic purpose of research is to explore modern techniques and new themes.
The Vice Chancellor said that the University is extending wholehearted guidance to the scholars remaining in the resources.
He called on the scholars to fully benefit the opportunities being offered to them in the university and thus perform better in front of the academic research making it (university) a hub of research activities.
Director of the Center for Excellence in Mineralogy, Dr. Akhtar Muhammad Kasi, teachers and students attended the seminar.
Earlier, the M.Phil scholars Ms. Shazia Fareed and Tahir Iqbal presented their research papers at the seminar on the themes of concerns of earthquake and its causes as well as implementation on the building code.
Question and answer session was also held on the occasion in which scholars responded to the questions raised by the participants.
The chief guest appreciated the academic research.
