Capital City Police Officer says: Security agencies making combined endeavors to improve law & order

QUETTA: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema has said that all security agencies are making joint efforts in improving law and order situation and ensuring protection of life and property of masses in the city.
He said that every possible steps are being taken to counter acts of terrorism in view of any such possibility in the city.
He also mentioned that all the security and law enforcement agencies are on a same page in order to protect life and property of the masses as well as to maintain law and order in the metropolis.
Some suspected persons were also arrested in different raids conducted in different parts of the city and its suburbs, the CCPO said adding that the arrested ones are being interrogated.
He said that the police force would not avoid rendering any kind of sacrifice in line of its duty.
Referring the anti-Polio campaign launched in the metropolis, the CCPO said that effective steps were taken for security of the teams engaged in it.
He dispelled the impression that the schools were closed owing to the security concerns, rather they were closed on account of winter vacation.
He stressed that we have to take steps for security together.
