Higher Secondary School Certificate: BISE announces result of supplementary examinations

QUETTA: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta has announced the result of supplementary examination of Higher School Secondary Certificate (HSSC) here.
According to the result gazette, a total of 5,698 candidates had appeared in the examination, out of them, 3,824 could pass.
The overall pass percentage remained as 67.11 percent.
As per the details, the HSSC (F.A / F.Sc) bi-annual examinations were started on October 14, 2014 with the last paper conducted on November 10, thus the result was declared in one month and 19 days.
As per the result details, in pre-Medical Group, a total of 1,876 candidates had appeared. Of them, 1,393 candidates were declared successful showing the success percentage of 74.25 percent.
Similarly, in pre-Engineering Group, out of 1,857, a total of 1,174 candidates could pass the examination. The pass percentage remained as 63.22 percent.
Moreover, in the Science General Group, the pass percentage remained 51.80 percent as out of total 361 candidates, 187 could pass the examination.
In Arts Group, a total of 1,604 candidates participated in the examination. Out of them, 1,070 candidates were declared pass showing the success percentage as 66.71 percent.
