PkMAP’s recommendations to CCPO: “Maintaining law, order, elimination of social evils collective responsibilityâ€

QUETTA: Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) prepared comprehensive recommendations for improving law and order situation as well as protection of life and property of the masses, elimination of social evils and prevention of corruption.
The recommendations were handed over to the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Abdul Razzaq Cheema by the Provincial Minister for Information, Information Technology, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, here during a meeting the other day.
Also present on the occasion were the Member of Provincial Assembly belonging to PkMAP, Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, the party leader, Yousaf Khan and others.
The overall law and order situation as well as other related issues came up for threadbare discussion during the meeting.
There was a consensus during that every segment of the society would have to play one’s role in bringing improvement in law and order situation as well as elimination of the social evils including narcotics and other issues.
Emphasis was laid on creating awareness among the general public against corruption and the social evils.
It was decided that an awareness campaign would be launched for the purpose and loudspeakers would be used for the purpose.
It was stated that the police is guardian of the people so it becomes its top duty to protect the life and property of the masses. If police and other law enforcement agencies discharge their responsibilities with the spirit of public services, then there’s no reason that the law and order situation is not improved in Quetta and other parts of the province.
Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial Minister for Information, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal said that it is responsibility of the provincial government to provide full protection to the masses. All available resources are being mobilized to build capacity of the police and levies further by equipping them with latest facilities and equipment so that they are able to perform well.
Moreover, more inductions are being made in the police and levies force as part of the government’s initiatives to improve law and order, he maintained.
The CCPO on the occasion assured that the police force would play its role in making the society free from the social evils.
The performance and role of the CCPO in maintaining law and order was also appreciated on the occasion.
