WAPDA Hydro Union to stage protest today

QUETTA: All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union Balochistan is staging a protest demonstration at 11:00 AM today (Wednesday) in front of the Quetta Press club.
According to a press release issued by the Union, the peaceful demonstration would be staged against the proposed privatization of the group of companies of WAPDA, alleged political interference in the institution as well as for protection of the workers during duty hours besides in opposition of price hike, unemployment, lawlessness, corruption, etc.
The similar demonstrations would also be staged in different other districts of the Balochistan province as elsewhere in the country.
