Martyred Edhi volunteers remembered

QUETTA: The volunteers of Edhi Foundation, who had lost their lives in suicide attack on Alamdar road January 10 last year, were remembered here at the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital the other day.
It may be recalled that the Station Manager of Edhi, Muhammad Saboor Khan and drivers Muhammad Zareef, Asif and Muhammad Akhtar were martyred during duty.
Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Incharge of Edhi Foundation, Babul Khan paid homage to the fellow volunteers, who had lost their lives last year in Alamdar road tragedy.
Babul Khan said that the mission of Edhi volunteers would remain continued in future as well.
He also said that the Edhi volunteers are rendering services for the cause of humanity without any discrimination.
He said that we are proud of the sacrifices rendered by the Edhi volunteers.
Qura’an khawani was also held for departed souls of the Edhi martyred volunteers. The representatives of the civil society and media also attended the ceremony.
