In start of new academic year: Govt. to launch School Bharo drive, says Raza Barech

QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Education, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech has announced that the provincial government has planned to “School Bharo” (fill school) campaign at beginning of the new academic year in the province.
He also stated that the steps are being taken to put the education system and procedure of teaching on modern lines.
He was addressing a seminar on education here at the Press Club the other day. The seminar was organized by a non-governmental organization (NGO) namely Mashhal in collaboration with the Education Governance and the media.
The Advisor for Education expressed his concern over the state of education in the province. He said that the present situation of education is a matter of concern for all of us, and in view of that, the government is taking concrete steps to bring positive change in it.
He also said that it is our utmost endeavor to bring reforms in the education sector removing backwardness.
In this regard, he referred to the steps being taken for prevention of cheating from the examinations. He said that strict monitoring of the examination centers would be made through modern cameras in order to put an end to the cheating.
Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech also mentioned that a grant of Rs. 5 million has been allocated for the teachers showing outstanding performance during exam duties.
Meanwhile, the Secretary Information, Abdullah Jan, President of Press Club, Razaur Rehman, senior journalists, Saleem Shahid and Syed Ali Shah addressed the seminar.
They also spoke at length about the importance of quality education for bringing positive change in the society.
They stressed that every one has to play role for promotion of education in the province, which is otherwise lagging behind than other parts of the country.
