SIBI jan 15 (PPI): Massacre of innocent children in Peshawar is black chapter of history. It is very much condemned. Terrorists involved in terrorists would not be spared under National Action Plan. Special plan for foolproof security of all the schools was being prepared. Mercy petitions of 14 prisoners are with President of Pakistan. As soon as orders will be received executions would be implemented.
These views were expressed by Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani in an interview with PPI here Thursday.
Home Secretary said efforts of Balochistan Chief Minister, Commander southern Command and Chief Secretary are not hidden to anyone. Owing to their best strategy Balochistan peace is now exemplary. Prime Minister?s 20-Point Action plan would be fully implemented in Balochistan. Elements involved in terrorism cannot be spared at any cost. Steps were underway to bring elements involved in terrorism into net of law so that blood of innocent people is accounted for.
Cases heard by Anti Terrorism Courts and arrested accused involved in terrorism would be completely probed and then these cases would be referred to Federal government which would then send them to Military Courts.
He told that so far appeals of 99 condemned prisoners were under hearing in different courts. Mercy appeals of condemned prisoners including 4 convicted by Supreme Court and 10 from other courts have been sent to President. As soon as decision was received these would be executed within seven days according to the law.
He said Peshawar incident is not less than tragedy. The way innocent children were mercilessly killed is condemnable.
Home Secretary said Deputy Commissioners and others have been directed for improving security of schools in Balochistan. No ignorance would be tolerated in this regard.
He said to improve performance of Levies and Police in the province jawans were being imparted training so that they could serve in better way. All resources would be utilized for raising standard of Levies and Police.
