Mehfooz Khan terms hard work essential for development

QUETTA: Director General of National Institute Management (NIM), Mehfooz Ali Khan has said that we need to work hard for development of the province.
He was addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day training workshop on Balochistan Public Procurement 2014 arranged in collaboration with the Balochistan BPRA, Assessment and Strategic Programme (ASP), RSPN here the other day.
The senior officers from different provincial government departments attended the workshop.
Mehfooz Ali Khan, who has served as the Secretary Finance department and the Procurement Expert, maintained that if we discharge our duties well then the day is not far away when we would be achieving the goal of development.
The training was aimed at making the people aware about the purchase of different things in the government departments, civil service, civil works and tendering process besides other related matters.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General of National Institute of Management (NIM), Mehfooz Ali Khan briefed the participating officers about the Balochistan Procurement Rules 2014.
Such kind of training was arranged for the first time in Gawadar, the DG NIM mentioned.
He announced to conduct similar nature other workshops on the procurement rules for the concerned officers under the ASP and PPRA.
Five more training workshops would be conducted in Quetta, Loralai, Sibi and Hub, adding he mentioned
