QUETTA: The Vice Chancellor of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai has called on the faculty members to utilize their professional potential for bringing improvement in standard of education in the province.
He was addressing the training workshop arranged for the newly inducted teachers in the BUITEMS on Thursday.
The Vice Chancellor also urged the teachers to play their wholehearted part in moral upbringing of the students as it is equally important for bringing positive change in the society.
Bazai mentioned that the BUITEMS is providing opportunities of the higher education to the youth on their doorstep.
He noted with contentment that the University has attained a distinctive position among the best educational institutions of the country in a very short span of time. This is just because of the hard work put in by the teachers and devotion of the students, he maintained.
He stressed that the newly inducted teachers should ensure their presence in the training workshop arranged by the HRD for building their capacity further.
He also urged the new faculty members to promote the thinking of research culture in the University benefitting from the expertise of the senior teachers.
He said that the developed nations and civilized societies are result of the research of the teachers as well as their hard work in the education sector.
The education is the only way to progress, so every individual particularly the teachers should contribute in its development.
