QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Women Development and Food departments, Mir Izhar Hussain Khosa has said that our women are equally talented, and as such it is our mission to provide them all the necessary basic facilities so that they are able to excel in their respective fields.
He was addressing the closing ceremony of the seminar on the last day of three-day women festival arranged by the Benazir Bhutto Women Center, in Sibi the other day.
He said that the wholehearted participation of the women and children in the three-day festival and their performance in different activities proved that they are second to none, and they can face any challenge in all fields of life.
Izhar Khosa also said that the government is committed to facilitate the womenfolk in the province, and as such is also taking steps in this regard.
Principal of Government Degree Girls College Quetta Cantonment, Professor Dr. Shagufta Iqbal, Resident Director of Aurat Foundation, Haroon Dawood, Ms. Jahan Ara Tabassum, Sardarzada Nasir Khan Marri, Ms. Safia Bano Hashmi and others also addressed the seminar.
While among those who attended it were: Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Sohailur Rehman Baloch, former Nazim, Sardarzada Hairbiyar Domki, Additional Commissioner, Sibi, Azeem Anjum Hanbhi, DEO Females, Ms. Shazia Mengal, ADO, Ms. Salma Atta, Principal Girls College, Professor Shahida Nawaz, DHO, Mian Manzor and others, besides the women from different walks of life.
