Dr. Abdul Aziz Lehri posted as DHO Quetta

QUETTA: Principal Multipurpose Training School Quetta, Dr. Abdul Aziz Lehri (HMC/B-18) has been transferred and posted as the District Health Officer (DHO) Quetta.
This was announced in an official notification issued here by the Provincial Health department, Government of Balochistan the other day.
According to the official notification, Dr. Sher Ahmad Satakzai, who was serving as the DHO Quetta, has been asked to report in the Health Department.
It may be mentioned here that Dr. Lehri has also served as the DHO in the past.
Meanwhile, it was learnt through independent sources that replacement of Dr. Satakzai as the DHO has been made on the basis of his “performance “during the polio immunization campaigns in Quetta district.
The sources quoted Secretary Health, Noorul Haq Baloch as saying that there is no room for those committing negligence in the Health department.
He also mentioned that the Quetta divisional and district administration had expressed their reservations over his working as the DHO.
