SIBI jan 19 (PPI): Nationalist political parties have disappointed people of Balochistan. Talks of democracy are useless unless true representatives of Baloch nation are accepted. BNP is party of believing in democratic thought and politics making struggle for rights of Balochistan as vanguard.
These views were expressed by President Balochistan National Party (BNP) Sardar Akhtar Mengal while speaking to a delegation which called on him under the leadership of BNP Central leader Yaqoob Baloch.
Akhtar Mengal said BNP has always spoken for rights of land of Balochistan and Baloch nation. Struggling irrespective of colour and creed for end to backwardness of Baloch people it also does not consider cruelties in the society, injustices, shedding blood of innocent people, extra judicial killings, arrests, disgrace of sanctity of chadar and char deewari rather condemns continuation of such incidents.
Mengal said raising voice at every forum for ending negative trends and hate as our duty. As in the past BNP was being pushed to the wall owing ot its principled stand. But we never retreated way out for all difficulties, problems and worries and adopted political national democratic manner. But very consistently spread our manifesto and party policies to the people. In our struggle all the friends of the party guided us and we care for their sacrifices.
He said conspiring elements defeated BNP in the generation elections. Those supported military courts strangulated democracy.
Appreciating public meeting to be held in February in this historic city of Sibi would prove milestone. Workers should spread message of party door to door and mobilize their abilities to organize it.
