SIBI Jan 19 (PPI): Welfare and well being of masses were being made irrespective of colour or creed without available resources. No compromise can be made on the health of people.
These views were expressed by Provincial Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch while speaking to PPI Monday.
He said National Party assumed power in a difficult and crucial stage and we have to face several challenges. However Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and our colleagues with their unity and sincere and serious efforts ended these problems. National Party by putting people of Balochistan on way to progress, prosperity and peace has proved that it is committed to redress problems fo people of Balochistan. We do not make announcements, promises and claims but are real representative of people to resolve their problems by living among them.
Rehmat Baloch said eradication of polio from Balochistan is our foremost objective and we are taking measures day and night in this regard. We are working to provide facilities at the hospitals, provision of medicines for the health of people.
He said no ignorance would be tolerated during national polio drive commenced on January 18 in Sibi and other areas. Polio is a fatal disease and children suffered from it become disabled for life Ministry of Health Balochistan has declared emergency for eradication of polio in the province.
He asked parents, Ulema, civil society, teachers and journalistic community to support us in this war and provide awareness to the people about polio drops so that innocent generation of Baluchistan is saved form fatal disease of polio.
