QUETTA: Zamindar Action Committee Balochistan has announced to continue its protest in order to press the government for acceptance of their demands including ending lengthy power load shedding in the province.
According to the General Secretary of ZAC, Abdul Rehman Bazai said that the call for shutter down strike has been given for January 23 in all cities of the province including Quetta. If the demands were not met even then, the wheel jam strike would be observed on the national highways on January 26, he maintained.
If the issues facing the zamindars were not paid any consideration by the government and other concerned authorities, they would be forced to continue their protest rather intensify it further, Bazai said.
He regretfully pointed out that the concerned authorities are not paying proper heed towards their issues as a result they are facing immense problems.
Their demands are included: provision of electricity supply on regular basis, restoration of subsidy on the agricultural tube wells, building of water dams in different areas of the province, etc.
