Delegation of Private Schools Association meets Commissioner

QUETTA: A delegation of All Pakistan Private Schools and College Association led by its Provincial President, Malik Rasheed Khan Kakar had a meeting with the Commissioner Quetta Division, Kambar Dashti here the other day.
The members of the delegation apprised the Commissioner about the issues related to security of the private schools.
Malik Rasheed Kakar on the occasion pointed out that the private schools administration is being disturbed by the area police over the issue of security. He said that we are facing problems, and if the same were not resolved, then we would be forced to close down our schools.
We have no enough resources and funds for installation of close circuit TV cameras and purchase of the scanners, he further noted.
The members of the delegation requested the Commissioner to issue arm licenses to administration of the private schools.
The Commissioner assured to take necessary action on the request.
In this regard, the Principal of all the schools have been asked to remain in contact with the Association.
It may be mentioned here that a meeting chaired by the Commissioner had reviewed the matters pertaining to security of the private schools including installation of the close circuit television (CCTV) cameras, setting up of walk through gates, deployment of the security guards, etc.
The Commissioner had directed to ensure security arrangements at the private schools by the end of February this year.
All the necessary security should be in place by the given time, the Commissioner stressed adding that it was responsibility of the private schools administration to ensure protection of their students at their respective schools.
