More rains, snowfall likely next week

ISLAMABAD Jan 30 (Online): Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast very cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, with more rains/snowfall next week.
The PMD says continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A fresh western disturbance is likely to approach north western parts of Balochistan on Saturday (night) and likely to persist during next three to four days.
It said very cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Frost would occur in Islamabad and Potohar region (Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal).
The Met Office has predicted more rains with snowfall over the hills in upper parts of the country and Balochistan from Sunday to Tuesday (1st to 3rd Feb).
It said Murree/Gallyat, Parachinar, Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir may receive good snowfall in the brief snowfall spell.
