Results of LB elections sent to ECP Islamabad for final notification

QUETTA: The results of the last phase of Local Bodies (LB) in Balochistan duly collected from the respective Returning Officers of the districts have been sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in Islamabad.
This was informed by the Provincial Election Commissioner (PEC), Syed Sultan Bayazeed while talking to media here on Monday.
The PEC said that the ECP would issue notification of success of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Metropolitan Corporation, Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees, District and Union Councils in the province.
It could take four to five days to issue the notification after compilation of the official results by the ECP, Islamabad, Bayazeed maintained.
It may be mentioned here that the last phase of LB polls was held on January 28, 2015 all over the province including Quetta.
