QUETTA: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Highway Police, Jahanzaib Khan Jogezai has claimed that the law and order situation has been improved on national highways in the province.
Addressing the police darbar here the other day, the DIG Highway Police said that while the police is responsible for protection of life and property of the masses, their (masses) cooperation is also needed to maintain law and order.
He said that we need wholehearted cooperation of the masses to eliminate crime. He also said that where there the police happens to be active and efficient in a society, the law and order remains controlled there.
He said that the dutiful and capable police officers and personnel would be encouraged fully.
The Superintendent of Police Highways, Muhammad Yousaf Bhangar on the occasion said that the police officers and personnel are discharging their duty honestly as a result the travelling has been safer on the province’s highways to a great extent.
The SP also said that our staff is alert round the clock. He reiterated that the Highway police would continue to perform with the similar zeal and passion in future as well.
