QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Information, Information Technology, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal has stated that the era of keeping the people backward through false claims have been over.
He was speaking on the occasion of inauguration of agricultural nullah completed at the cost of Rs. 5.5 million in Killi Gharmi of Harnai the other day.
Also present on the occasion were the newly elected Chairman of Municipal Committee of Harnai, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah, Deputy Chairman, Abdul Razzaq Tareen, besides the office bearers of Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and other concerned officials.
The Minister was briefed about the project of agriculture by the concerned officials. He said that a large number of zamindars of the area would be benefitted through the development project executed in Harnai.
Ziaratwal also mentioned that work is continued on various development projects of worth millions of rupees for development of agriculture in Harnai district.
He believed that the projects would help raise living standard of the people on one hand and provide them basic facilities of life on the other hand.
The Minister Information and IT said that the present government is taking every possible steps for development of agriculture sector by providing necessary facilities to the zamindars.
It is our responsibility to resolve the collective nature problems facing the people and provide them the basic facilities to them and so in the Harnai district, he maintained.
He said that it is the responsibilities of political parties and elected representatives as well as the tribal elders to supervise personally the development process in their respective areas so as to ensure transparency in it.
He said that the government is very sincere to resolve the issues of common men, and this is why it has laid the net of development projects all over.
The Minister on the occasion directed to the high ups of Agriculture and Water Management departments to ensure timely completion of the development activities maintaining good quality of work.
Stern action should be taken against those found indulged in any irregularity and corruption, he directed further.
