Director Livestock Department: Preparations afoot well for annual Sibi Festival

QUETTA: Expressing satisfaction over the pace of preparations for the forthcoming annual Sibi Festival, the Director Livestock Department, Dr. Tariq Masood Chaudhary has directed to the concerned officials of the department to maintain the pace rather speed it further.
Full dress rehearsal should be made ahead of the Sibi Festival, maintained Dr. Tariq Masood while chairing a meeting of the officers of the Livestock Department the other day.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements and preparations made for the Sibi Festival.
It was told that all the necessary preparations would be made timely for the forthcoming Festival in Sibi. It was also informed that the issues to be faced by the livestock breeders and others participating in the Festival would be duly resolved.
Moreover, the better arrangements for boarding and meal would be made for the concerned officers and staff assigned the responsibilities during the Sibi Festival enabling them to discharge the same in befitting manner.
In addition to it, the meeting was also informed that participation of the animals of best breed from all over the country is being ensured in the Festival.
Those participating in the Festival would be introduced to the livestock in the province besides apprising them about importance of the vital sector.
Addressing the meeting, the Director Livestock said that the Sibi Festival is an important source of development of livestock sector in Balochistan.
In view of significance of livestock sector in the province, the Director Livestock stressed that it is important responsibility of the Livestock Department to play its effective part to make the forthcoming Festival great success.
He directed to the concerned officials to utilize their potential in making the Festival successful maintaining the good tradition of the past.
