JAFFARABAD Feb 14 (PPI): Terrorists blew up two towers in Chattar area of Nasirabad districts. Supply of electricity to 29 districts of Balochistan was suspended.
This is sixth incident of blowing electricity towers in Nasirabad. It has caused worst crisis in the province.
According to details terrorists blew up two towers of high power transmission line from Gudud to Quetta in Chattar area. Both the towers collapsed. Supply of electricity to 29 districts of Balochistan including Quetta was suspended.
QESCO officials while confirming the incident said that it has created worst shortfall of electricity in Balochistan. Through alternate transmission line partial supply was being made.
Sources said owing to security reasons team for repair of poles was not sent to the said area. As a soon as administration would give security clearance repair of towers would be undertaken.
