PTI protests interior Minster’s snubbing remarks

ISLAMABAD, 19 Sep (Online): PTI has strongly protested against snubbing remarks by interior minister in N.A, whence he has been known to have shunned “advice of others over the issue”.

Speaking at the House on Thursday, Chaudhry Nisar Ali had said that “dialogue with Taliban is definitely a sensitive issue, over which consensus with all political parties and Armed Forces would be held; but no one should advise us over the matter”.

Expressing his strong criticism of this statement by the interior minister, Arif Alvi of PTI said that that rendering advice, recommendations in the N.A was the political right of Parliamentarians, and as such this statement had offended PTI’s parliamentary privileges.
