SIBI(PPI): Balochistan?s prosperity and development is linked with peace. Citizens of the province realizing their responsibility for making the province cradle of peace should ensure cooperation with security forces. Heart sheds blood on killing of innocent people in acts of terrorism. Journalists should play their role for establishing peace and prosperity of people.
These views were expressed by Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua in an interview with PPI at Sardar Chakar Stadium here Friday.
Central Additional Secretary Information All Pakistan Journalists Council Syed Tahir Ali, President Sibi Union of Journalists Javaid Baloch and others were also present on the occasion.
Commander Southern Command said baton or bullet is no solution to any problem nor terrorism can resolve problems. For progress of Balochistan and prosperity of its people pen should be taken up throwing guns. Thus several problems can be redressed. He said only pen is paving way for peace and prosperity and the province would make headway on progress and prosperity.
He said only education gives us awareness and with weapon of education we can face coming challenges. Almighty Allah has blessed Balochistan with natural resources while its people area hard working, brave and patriotic. Only handfuls are falling prey to foreign conspiracies. Despite all problems and difficulties we all have to foil enemies conspiracies. We have to pledge today we would foil all nefarious designs of enemies and utilise energies to put Balochistan on progress and prosperity.
Commander southern Command said performance of security forces deploy for the security of people is fully confident. Pak Army considers defence of every inch of the motherland its duty and sacrifices of those laid down their lives in discharge of their duty would not be allowed go waste.
