Wali Khan Babar case: Cases of killed witnesses reopened

KARACHI Sept 20 (Online): Additional Inspector General Police Sindh, Shahid Hayat said that the cases of witnesses in the Wali Babar case who had been killed have been reopened.
Speaking to private TV, Hayat revealed that the key witness in the murder case was still alive. He added that the eyewitness was buying vegetables at the time of the murder of the private tv correspondent. According to Hayat this eyewitness had informed investigators of the number plate of the attackers’ car but had refused to appear in court.
The Additional IGP further said that Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon had also spoken of the eyewitness in the case being alive in this regard.
