Governor opens Balochistan Sports Festival

QUETTA(PPI): Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that Baloch and Pashtoon tribes have rendered numerous sacrifices for Pakistan. After the Pakistan Resolution, Baloch and Pashtoons decided to access with Pakistan. He said some areas have been hit by lawlessness but present government and security forces together improved the situation to meet challenges. Pakistan?s future is linked with Balochistan.
He expressed these views while opening Balochistan Sports Festival at Ayub Stadium here Sunday.
Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, IG FC Major General Sher Afgun, Provincial Minister Mujeebur Rehman Muhammad Hasni, Nawab Muhammad Khan Shahwani, provincial Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Consul Generals of Iran and Afghanistan, Members of assembly and senators also attended.
Governor said he pays tributes to makers of Pakistan and presenters of resolution because owing to their efforts every Pakistani was breathing in free atmosphere. He said today is day of our happiness. He said at the time of creation of Pakistan our Baloch and Pashtoon elders rendered sacrifices and announced to supporter Pakistan Resolution with willingness.
He said Balochistan is half of Pakistan area wise and its borders are with Iran and Afghanistan. It played important role in the progress of the country and its prosperity. Whatever situation has passed in the province it has affected its development. He aid days of lawlessness have passed and era of porosity is here now. To further improve this prosperity law and order needs to the improved further. He said Balochistan suffered from sense of deprivation during the past 65 years. But present democratic government was serious to resolve its problems.
Provincial Minister Mujeebur Rehman Muhammad Hasni said that healthy physique is guarantee for best brain while best brain is guarantee for developed nation and best future. He said promotion of sports is among priorities of the government.
He said last year he had made promise with the people that sports festival would be organized at divisional level and we have fulfilled this promise.
He said future of prosperous Pakistan is linked with Balochistan. Youth of Balochistan are not less than anyone. They would be encouraged and their secret abilities would be developed.
He congratulated Organisers of Sports Festival and law enforcement agencies for their efforts of organizing magnificent ceremony of the festival.
He called upon the youth to fully participate in extracurricular activities along with their educational activities to brighten name of Balochistan and Pakistan at the international level.
