Pak Day celebrations at Staff Welfare Organization

QUETTA: The Pakistan Day celebrations were held under the auspices of Staff Welfare Organization Quetta at the Staff Welfare Ladies Industrial Home, CGS Colony here the other day.
The federal government employees and their family members living in the CGS colony participated in the ceremony.
The activities arranged in the ceremony were included the national songs and regional dance besides the musical chair, fancy dress show and the speech competitions. Needless to mention here is that the children of the employees performed in the activities making it a memorable event.
National anthem was also sung on the occasion.
Taking part in the competitions, the speakers highlighted importance of the Pakistan Day and the resolution adopted on that day.
They said that existence of Pakistan was nothing but a miracle under the challenging circumstances in the Indo-Pak sub-continent at that time. It was the unity, faith and discipline, the principles of Quaid-e-Azam that made it possible to have a separate country for Muslims of the sub-continent, they maintained.
The present circumstances also demand for us to forge unity among our ranks, they stressed further.
