Day temperatures to rise during next few days: Met Office

ISLAMABAD, Sept 20 (APP): Day temperatures would rise upto two or three degrees celsius in most parts of the country and weather would remain hot and dry during the next few days, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
An official of PMD told APP that mainly hot and dry weather would prevail in most parts of the country during the current week.
However, he said, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail the next week also and there is no chance of rain.
The synoptic situation said that weak seasonal low was lying over
Northwest Balochistan and its adjoining areas.
The weather would remain hot and dry in most parts of Punjab, Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24 hours.
The met office has informed the farmers of cultivated areas of cotton, sugarcane,rice
and corn crops that there were no chances of rain during the current and next week.
The maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Islamabad 35 C, Lahore 36 C, Karachi 34 C, Peshawar 36 C, Quetta 34 C, Skardu 28 C, Murree 25C, Muzzafarabad 38 C, Gilgit 33 C, Faisalabad 37 C, Multan 39 C and Hyderabad 40 C.
