MACH(PPI): Execution of Muhammad Zaman at Central Jail here was suspended following reconciliation reached between his relatives and aggrieved party.
According to details Muhammad Zaman was awarded capital punishment by Session Judge Jaffarabad at Dera Allah Yar on March 28, 1997. Zaman had killed two persons on Dec 10, 1994 on charges of illicit relations.
Reconciliation reached between relatives of those killed and Muhammad Zaman was handed over to Central Jail Mach authorities late at Monday-Tuesday night and his hanging was held.
Meanwhile another prisoner Amir Hamza would be hanged at the same jail at 0530 hours Wednesday.
