QUETTA: The special committees formed for elimination of cheating in examinations by the provincial government visited the exam centers set up in different educational institutions in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Naseerabad and Makran divisions.
The committees reviewed the arrangements made for prevention of cheating and use of other unfair means in the ongoing examinations of Intermediate.
During the visit, no untoward incident related to the cheating was reported from anywhere.
Needless to mention here is that necessary steps have been taken by the government to eliminate cheating in the Inter exams on pattern of Matriculation exams held earlier this year.
As part of the reforms being brought about in the education system, the sources of Education department told that for the first time, the special attention was given to rid the education of cheating, which has yielded positive and encouraging results.
It was decided to take stern action against the teachers and other concerned supervision staff those failed to prevent cheating in the examination.
The sources mentioned that section 144 had been imposed within 100 yards of the examination centers all over the province during the Intermediate examinations.
The entry of unauthorized persons would totally be banned in the examination centers, he asserted.
Moreover, the candidates would also not be allowed to carry their mobile phones into the examination centers, and in case the mobile phones were recovered from the candidates, they would be confiscated, he warned.
