Abducted bank manager rescued after encounter

KARACHI Sept 21 (Online): Police have rescued a bank manager during an operation in South Zone and arrested three accused.
According to details, police have rescued a bank manager, Rafiq, from South Zone after an encounter when his kidnapers were shifting him from one place to another.
Police have also arrested three kidnapers while two others managed to escape. Gathering information from the arrested kidnapers, police launched a search operation in Lasbela and Patel Para and arrested six more accused and recovered arms and a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
The accused had abducted manager of a private bank, Rafiq, from Kharadar area and had collected Rs 600,000 from his heirs and were demanding Rs 1.5 million more for his release.
