QUETTA Apr 23 (PPI): We all would work to eliminate terrorism in Balochistan. Security forces and police have to make much more efforts and all efforts should be made for security of the people. Credit of peace in Balochistan now than in the past and decrease in incidents of terrorism goes to all forces.
These views were expressed by Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Balochistan while addressing passing out parade in Quetta Cantt Thursday. One hundred and fifty two police officials complete counter terrorism training conducted by Pak Army.
Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua and Additional IG Police Ahsan Mahbub also spoke on the occasion.
Provincial Ministers, senior civil and military officers also attended.
Chief Minister said we all end terrorism atmosphere in the province with our joint efforts. Police has to make double efforts for restoring peace. All requirements of police were made on merit. We are paying Rupees 4 billion additional salaries to Police and Levies. He said number two weapons and jackets were bought for police in the previous regime. He said if police men will loot masses it would create hatred.
Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua said objective of police training is security of life, property and dignity of people. Balochistan is the best province of Pakistan. Prosperity has reached to the door of this province. He said Pak Army and Frontier Corps Balochistan were engaged in Zarb e Azb. Police and Levies were fighting against terrorism. He asked them they were the best as they defend motherland by staking their lives. He said victory is ours. Lets us eliminate terrorism and make future better because out future is bright. Let us prove trust reposed in us. He said Police has major role in peace in Balochistan.
He warned trouble makers to give up their work as they never be successful. He said we are moving on path to peace.
Additional Inspector General Balochistan Police Ahsan Mahbub thanked Pak Army saying one thousand police men have completed training form Pak army jawans. He said training of police men was also underway in other areas of the province. He hoped that police men would not disappoint the masses.
