National highways remained close second day

QUETTA Apr 25 (PPI): Transporters blockade of national highways in Balochistan entered second consecutive day Saturday. Transporters were protesting shifting of bus stands from City area to Hazarganji on the outskirts.
People while expressing strict disappointment and anger said there is nothing as government in the province and everyone was free to do no one can stop him.
According to details transport bodies refused to accept orders of Balochistan Chief Minister to shift their stands from city area to Hazarganji a suburban area and protested over it then form Friday they blocked roads and highways by parking buses.
Due to strike traffic between Quetta and rest of the country became standstill and people faced great difficulties.
National highways were blocked at Kuchlak, Lak Pass and Kolpur. Due to strike thousands of vehicles stranded .Thousands of chickens died due to hot weather. People and children particularly patients from far flung areas suffered a lot .
There are reports of shortage of food stuff in several districts such as Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Ziarat, Mastung and Kalat. Government did not contact protesting transporters yet.
Travelers demanded fo the government to take notice of transporters protest and political parties should play their role in resolving the issue.
