QUETTA: The Mayor Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC), Dr. Kalimullah Khan has said that it is responsibility of all to provide medical facilities to the citizens and improve the environment of the Hospitals.
He stated so during his visit to the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital Quetta the other day.
The Mayor said that the Corporation would play its due role in resolving the issues being faced by the Civil Hospital and making it modern standard Hospital.
Dr. Kalimullah Khan, who has been a practicing doctor and served the ailing humanity a lot, went round of different sections of the Civil Hospital.
He inquired about the issues from heads of different sections. The Medical Superintendent of SPHHQ briefed the visiting Mayor about overall performance and functioning of the Hospital.
He also informed Dr. Kalimullah about the problems related to the security, availability of medicines and cleanliness.
The Mayor on the occasion said that the problems facing the Hospital belong to all. He suggested the Hospital administration to conduct a seminar over the issues in which all the provincial ministers and concerned authorities.
The administration should put forth the issues of the Hospital so as to resolve the same amicably, he stressed.
The Mayor also said that overall performance of the Hospital is quite good in view of the limited resources it has as compared to population of Quetta City.
He assured that he would play his part in bringing improvement in overall working of the Hospital.
