INAYATULLAH KAREZ (Gulistan) Arp 28 (PPI): Lawlessness has ended in Gulistan and situation was changing. Earlier educational institutions and other organisations had destroyed due to lawlessness.
This was stated by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while addressing inauguration ceremony of new building of Government Boys High School RAHA education project here Tuesday.
Head of UNHCR Sub office Quetta Fabio, Provincial Minister Dr Hamid Achakzai and others also spoke on the occasion.
Commissioner Quetta Division Qambadashti, Director Commissionerate Afghan Refugees Arbab Talib, DEO Kaleemullah were also present.
Governor said the society without education people go out of there for employment. We all have to pay attention on education for peaceful life.
He said he had said in a programme yesterday that all should be given education in mother tongue. It would help people move forward.
Local bodies representatives should go to door to door for admissions into the educational institutions. They would also bind teachers and doctors at the schools and hospitals to perform their duty.
UNHCR Quetta Chief Fabio told that it is for the first time RAHA (Refugees Affected & Hosting Areas) project has government representation. It is educational programme aimed at popularising education in the area.
He said yesterday government launched 2015-18 education plan. RAHA was supporting this plan. He aid from 2013 till todate RAHA has contributed 12 projects while it has completed over 30 projects in Killa Abdullah District such as education clean drinking water etc.
He said people of this area had opened their doors for Afghan refugees. He said RAHA Works in areas of presence of refugees. AT the same time it is also help of local people.
He said UNHCR would continue to support RAHA Programme.
