Scattered Rain-Thundershowers with Dust-Storms Predicted during 4/5 days

QUETTA May 9 (PPI): Meteorological Department has predicted scattered rain-thundershowers with dust storms in the country during next 4-5 days.
Met Office informed that a westerly weather system is likely to enter the country on Saturday and expected to prevail in the country till mid of the coming week. Under the influence of this weather system rain-thundershowers associated with dust-storms are predicted in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibi and Nasirabad divisions of Balochistan, Islamabad, Punjab (Multan, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sahiwal and Lahore divisions), FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar, Kohat, Malakand, Mardan, Hazara, D I Khan and Bannu divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Saturday to Wednesday with occasional gaps. Dust-thundershowers are also expected at isolated places in Sindh (Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Larkana divisions) on Saturday and again on Monday/Tuesday.
The farmers of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and FATA are advised to take necessary precautionary measures for harvesting wheat crop during the period.
